Other than Floyd Battle, no player has known Coach Lollino longer than these former college teammates. Reggie and Floyd both starred for Coach Lollino at Morton College and were part of a 28-game winning streak and an Illinois Skyway Championship. Gallion went on to Chicago State University. Although it says “ROOKIE” in Gallion’s header, he certainly is no rookie to the ABA. In fact, “Boogie” was a major part of last year’s ABA World Champions. When he saw the opportunity to reunite with his college coach, he didn’t think twice. Gallion credits Lollino with showing him how to be a man and developing him into the player he is today. Lollino expects Boogie to be one of his team leaders.
