| Board of Directors | History & Successes | The Inferno Wheelchair Basketball Society was founded to fill a new void of local wheelchair basketball opportunities for women and able-bodied participants. The Society was founded by prospective players and incorporated as a not-for-profit society in the Province of Alberta on May 23, 2002. |

| Director: Jennifer Krempien | The first season (2002-2003) saw the Inferno field one women's team in the women's Nationals (finishing second). The following year (2003-2004), the club expanded to include a co-ed team in Canada's CWBL league, and has maintained both teams, as well as running some developmental camps ever since. | |

| Organization | The IWBS is a not-for-profit society run solely by volunteers. The administration and governance of the organization is the duty of the Board of Directors. The Directors are voted on to the board for 2-year terms at the Annual General Meeting. | |
